Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is most well recognized for her character of Violet Plunkett from the CBS show 'Mom.' Calvano is originally from California and was first fascinated by gymnastics. But, she chose to make a move acting. Her first screen appearance was an episode in 2010 of CBS's 'NCIS. The actress made her debut on the big screen one year later on the Biographical Drama "J Edgar". She is now one of the hottest actresses in recent years. In 2011 she won the Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress on a TV Series and in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. Her role as a special guest on the comedy series 'Kickin' It' was nominated yet again for a Young Artist Award. Calvano played a part in the cast of Mom for its first three seasons and was featured numerous times during the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
